“Warren showed me what he saw under the house before he said what it would cost. Nothing was treated until I agreed.”
Concord, North Carolina
Pest control for Concord homes, kept by one family since 1940
Every home gets a licensed technician, a written report after each visit and a re-service promise whose terms are on the page.
- Licensed applicators
- A written report every visit
- Se habla español: ask for Gabriela

The ledger
Since 1940, the same idea in four generations
Write down what you found, what you did and when you will be back. The paper has changed; the habit hasn't.
- 1940
Step 1: A truck and a ledger
The founder starts treating houses around Concord and writes every visit by hand: what he found, what he did, when he would return.
- 1960s
Step 2: The second generation takes the route
The founder's son adds inspections for wood-destroying insects, so buyers and sellers can see the house in writing.
- 1990s
Step 3: The third generation builds a crew
Licensed applicators on every truck, and the hand-written ledger becomes a printed report left with each customer.
- Today
Step 4: The fourth generation, today
Latasha Purnell runs the company. The report now goes to your email after each visit, written the same way as the first ledger.

What we treat
What most Carolina houses call us about
Six kinds of call, and one plan to cover the usual ones.
Ants and cockroaches
Carpenter ants in damp wood, fire ants in the yard, cockroaches in the kitchen. Each is treated differently.
How we handle itTermites and damaged wood
An inspection first, a written report, and treatment only for what the inspection finds.
How we handle itSpiders and household pests
Spiders, silverfish, crickets and stink bugs, treated inside and out on a plan visit.
How we handle itWasps and hornets
Nest removal outside the house, in protective gear, with a report on where else to look.
How we handle itMosquitoes and ticks
Yard treatments in warm months, with advice on standing water and tall grass.
How we handle it
The first visit
We look before we treat
The first visit is an inspection. You get the findings in writing, and a quote, before you agree to anything.
Outside walls, foundation, crawlspace door and attic hatch, walked and photographed
What we find, named in plain words
A written quote: first-visit fee, cost of each visit and the year's total
Nothing is treated until you say yes

Our guarantee
If the pests we treated for come back between visits, so do we.
Call us, and we re-service the same areas at no charge.
Pest work isn't always finished in one visit, and no firm can promise it never needs a second. These are the written terms.
The terms
Covers the pests named on your service report, while your plan is active
Re-service means the same treatment in the same areas, not a refund
Doesn't cover pests we didn't treat for, or entry points we asked you to seal that stay open
Some pests take more than one visit; your report says which

Customers
What the report said, and what happened next
“The report after each visit tells me where they treated and what to watch. When ants came back in August I called and a technician returned that week.”
“We moved in during spring and asked for the inspection first. The quote listed the first-visit fee on its own line, which I appreciated.”
Sample reviews. The owner replaces them with real ones and adds the source.

Questions we hear on the first call
How much does pest control cost?
It depends on the pest, the size of the house and lot, and how many visits the problem needs. After the inspection you get a written quote that lists the first-visit fee, the cost of each visit and the year's total. We don't quote a house we haven't looked at.
How often will I need service?
Most plans run four visits a year. Some houses need two, and a bad year can need extra visits. The first inspection tells us which, and the quote says how many.
What about children and pets during a treatment?
We can't promise any treatment carries no risk. Our applicators are licensed and follow the product label. We tell you which areas to keep children and pets out of, and for how long, and we give you the product list when you ask.
What if the pests come back?
Call us. Between scheduled visits we return and treat the same areas at no charge for the pests named on your report, while your plan is active. The terms are on the plans page.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No long contract is required. A plan can be canceled any time by phone or email, and billing stops after the visit already on the schedule.
Can I talk to someone in Spanish?
Yes. Gabriela Vidal, our service coordinator, speaks Spanish. Ask for her when you call, or choose Spanish on the form. We send a Spanish-speaking technician when the schedule allows, so tell us when you book.
